The Grounds

KEEP SCROLLING FOR MORE PICTURES.  Enter through the second set of gates on the property to your own private oasis, an estate so tranquil and serene yet only minutes away from local amenities and Ottawa's west end.  This 187 acre estate includes both woodlot and farmland.  A one-mile long dry stacked limestone wall surrounds the 10 acres that forms the formal estate.   The grounds are stunning with very mature maple, birch, oak, spruce, cedar, elm and pine trees.  There is also an abundance of apple, pear and crabapple trees.  The property is home to an incredible assortment of birds such as owls, wild turkeys, grouse, red-tailed hawks and northern harriers.  The large pond is a favourite of blue herons, ducks, geese, kingfishers and turtles.  There are many natural walking and ATV trails and a small creek runs through the property.
